“How full of trifles everything is! It is only one's thoughts that fill a room with something more than furniture.” Wallace Stevens

I have been Craigslist for a very long time. When it began it was a small apartment finding website in the early days of the Internet. Since then it has grown to become the world’s classifieds section. However, for good or bad, they have very rarely if ever updated the site to reflect current trends in website design. It pretty much looks like a website from 1998. Recently I felt I couldn’t find what I knew was there so I turned to the website CraigLook. They call themselves the RSS browser of the classifieds. This means they grab the data from Craigslist and overlay it with newer web choices. For instance their distance viewer is fantastic. You move the slider as far as you are willing to look outside of your area, up to two hundred miles. Also their thumbnail photos on the left of every listing speed up my searches hugely. Plus the look of the site is a pleasure to use. I love Craigslist but I do wish they would update the interface. In conclusion, if you are looking for a more efficient and overall more appealing experience when using Craigslist then give CraigLook a try.
