“Strangers are exciting, their mystery never ends. But, there's nothing like looking at your own history in the faces of your friends.” Ani Difranco

Don’t talk to strangers. I have heard it all my life but what if you want to talk to strangers? How do you go about it? Not too long ago my niece was chatting with someone online. I asked who are you talking to and she replied “I don’t know.” OK now my interest was peaked. “What do you mean?” I asked. She told me she was on a service called Omegle, a site that connects complete strangers in a chat window. The people could be young or old, from here or there or anywhere. Now I know the concerns about chatting with strangers but Omegle does not reveal any info at all. I guess you could put your real name and address in but most kids are more net savvy than their parents. I think of this as the same as a party. You mingle and will talk to some that are interesting and some that are a waste of time. However speaking to a complete stranger can be useful because you may discuss things you would never normally have known to ask. So go out and speak to someone you don’t know.
