“The highlight of my childhood was making my brother laugh so hard that food came out of his nose” Garrison Keillor

Recently a student asked me a question about computer warranties. I found the info she was looking for and sent it back. Later she asked about the information that preceded the stuff I sent her. It would have been so much easier if I could send her the page with the section highlighted. Enter awesome highlighter. I liked it the moment I heard the name. To see an example of what it does click the link. It should bring you to the webpage of the library’s blogs. On the page you see all the blogs but the PPL Cultural Events blog is highlighted. This means I can draw your attention to one spot easily on any web page. All I have to do is head to the website I want to highlight copy the URL and then on to awesome highlighter and pop in the address (URL). It takes a second or two and then I see my original page. I can highlight all the sections I need and change colors if necessary. Also I can add notes to the page as I go along. Finally I click done and it spits out another URL that you can email or post on your site. If you need to point something out to someone give awesome highlighter a try.
